OpenAI Appoints Nubank CEO David Vélez and BNY CEO Robin Vince to Board Ahead of IPO
OpenAI is adding David Vélez, founder and chief executive of digital lender Nubank, and Robin Vince, chief executive of Bank of New York Mellon, to its board as independent directors. The artificial intelligence company confirmed the board expansion on Monday.
The governance additions come ahead of a potential initial public offering for the startup, as the privately held company prepares its leadership structure for public markets.
