Etched Raises $300 Million in Series C Led by Sequoia at $10.3 Billion Valuation
AI inference chip startup Etched raised $300 million in a Series C funding round led by Sequoia at a $10.3 billion valuation.
Andreessen Horowitz, SK Hynix, Jane Street and Argo participated in the round, more than doubling the company’s valuation from $5 billion in December. Co-founders Gavin Uberti, Robert Wachen and Chris Zhu left Harvard in 2022 to build custom inference systems from scratch, a hardware strategy that early venture firms largely avoided.
