Shein’s prospectus for a Hong Kong listing shows a first-quarter loss of $99 million on revenue of $9.05 billion, swinging from a $395 million profit in the same quarter a year earlier.
Revenue grew 1 percent year over year. The filing notes the swing to a loss was partly driven by the United States removing the de minimis tariff exemption.
