General Motors reported second-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $3.57, beating estimates, and raised its full-year profit forecast while announcing a $2.3 billion charge to realign its electric vehicle strategy. Revenue totaled $48.03 billion.

The manufacturer lifted its 2026 adjusted EPS outlook to $12.00 to $14.00 from $11.50 to $13.50 and raised adjusted EBIT to $14 billion to $16 billion. Full-year net income guidance was lowered to $8.4 billion to $9.8 billion, and the company declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share.
