Nanya Raises 2027 Capital Spending to NT$200 Billion for New Taiwan DRAM Fab

Nanya Technology will spend NT$200 billion (US$6.2 billion) on capital expenditures in 2027, a jump from the NT$50 billion budgeted for this year, according to a media report.

The funding will finance a new DRAM manufacturing plant in Taiwan, targeting a capacity of 30,000 wafers per month by 2028 with a long-term peak of 45,000. About NT$100 billion has already been spent on the NT$480 billion project, marking the largest expansion for Taiwan’s biggest memory maker.
