Crimea Fuel Prices Hit 450 Rubles a Liter as Shortages Spread Across Russia
Fuel in occupied Crimea has reached 450 rubles ($5) a liter at some gas stations, according to posted gas station receipts, with a full tank costing 20,000 rubles ($220). Earlier reports put some stations at 300 to 350 rubles a liter where fuel was only intermittently available.
Fuel shortages are spreading across Russia, with problems reported in almost every region, according to economic observer Stanimir Dobrev. He said only Chukotka and the Jewish Autonomous Region were unaffected.
