UK And Netherlands Sign $3.2 Billion Maritime Defense Deal For Amphibious Ships Built In Joint Shipyards
The UK and the Netherlands have signed a $3.2 billion (£2.4 billion) maritime defense partnership to develop a new amphibious transport capability. Under the agreement, the vessels will be constructed in UK shipyards in cooperation with Dutch industry.
