Indonesia Buys BrahMos and Astra Missiles From India in Eight-Pact Deal
Indonesia will purchase BrahMos and Astra missiles from India under a defense agreement confirmed by a government official on Tuesday.
The missile sale is part of up to eight cooperation pacts being signed in Jakarta by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Prabowo Subianto, covering health, education and technology. The leaders of two of the world's four most populous nations are using the visit to formalize the new arrangements.
