Gemini Integrates With Google Business Profile and Launches Business Notebooks
Google’s Gemini artificial intelligence app has launched a new integration allowing business owners to connect directly to their Google Business Profile. The feature, available globally aside from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, enables users to input an "@" symbol in the app and select their profile to sync customer reviews, performance metrics, and profile details. Once linked, the AI can analyze monthly search impressions, call data, and engagement numbers to provide tailored operational recommendations.
The update also introduces Gemini business notebooks, which serve as persistent workspaces for managing daily tasks. Connected to the AI model, these notebooks reference a company's specific data to draft customer responses in a designated brand voice, flag unanswered inquiries, and propose adjustments to pricing or promotional calendars. Google Business Profile confirmed the integration is live, emphasizing the tools as a consolidated solution for tracking and updating local business operations.
