Visa's onchain analytics show that stablecoin transaction volume reached a record $1.79 trillion in June, increasing 63% from May and up 125% year over year. The adjusted transfer volume surpassed the previous high set in February, underscoring accelerating activity in the digital asset payments sector.

Despite Tether's USDT remaining the largest stablecoin by market capitalization, USD Coin (USDC) processed approximately 67% of the total transfer volume over the month. Transaction activity was primarily routed across the Base, Ethereum, and Tron blockchains, as stablecoins continue to expand their role in real world settlement and cross border payments.
