Kraken Technology Group Raises $175 Million in Series B to $1 Billion Valuation
Kraken Technology Group has raised $175 million in a Series B funding round that values the maritime defence maker at $1 billion.
The financing makes it the third UK defence unicorn of the year, alongside UFORCE and Cambridge Aerospace, ending a period before 2026 when the country had zero such valuations. DTCP led the round, with participation from the British Business Bank and the NATO Innovation Fund. The company produces up to 1,000 uncrewed vessels a month and holds partnerships with Rheinmetall, Anduril and Inocea.
