Together AI Raises $800 Million Led by Aramco Ventures
AI infrastructure company Together AI raised $800 million in a Series C funding round led by Aramco Ventures, doubling its valuation to $8.3 billion. The capital raise brings the company's total funding to $1.3 billion, according to a New York Times report and a Reuters Legal filing covering the round led by Saudi Aramco’s Prosperity7 fund.
Together AI operates an inference platform that serves large language models, emphasizing open-source architectures. The company reported processing 400 trillion tokens monthly, a volume metric highlighted by OpenAI researcher Tri Dao. Open model distribution platform Ollama congratulated the startup, underscoring the scaling infrastructure demand from developers building applications on publicly accessible AI models.
