US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Snap 10-Day Outflow Streak
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded approximately $222 million in net inflows on Thursday, ending a 10-day streak of capital withdrawals. Fidelity’s FBTC fund led the reversal with $166 million in purchases, pushing Bitcoin prices to hold above $61,000. The daily inflow offset a $2.7 billion outflow period that began in early July.
The shift in capital flows followed a soft U.S. jobs report, which reduced investor expectations for near-term Federal Reserve interest rate hikes and revived broad risk appetite. While spot Ethereum ETFs also posted inflows, BlackRock’s IBIT fund recorded 10 consecutive days of redemptions, exiting with roughly 35,980 BTC removed from its holdings. Analysts noted that while the turnover indicates renewed trading interest, more sustained inflows may be required to reverse the $4.5 billion monthly outflow BlackRock experienced throughout June.
