Donald Trump Discloses $2.2 Billion in 2025 Income and $3.8 Billion Portfolio
President Donald Trump earned more than $2.2 billion in 2025, making cryptocurrency and active stock trading his largest sources of personal income, according to financial disclosures released Tuesday. The filings, which cover the first year of his second non-consecutive term, also revealed a total portfolio valued at approximately $3.8 billion. Crypto revenue alone accounted for $1.4 billion, primarily generated through token sales linked to his family's digital assets firm and licensing deals. Trump's office defended the earnings as a function of rising global markets and routine portfolio management.
The $3.8 billion disclosed portfolio is anchored by real estate and golf resorts, which comprise 37% of the total value at $1.44 billion. Public equities and fixed income each account for 19% of the holdings, totaling $744 million and $714 million respectively, with stakes disclosed in Apple, Nvidia, Alphabet, and Broadcom. Cryptocurrency assets represent 6% of the portfolio, totaling $249 million, while the remaining assets are distributed across operating businesses, cash, money market funds, and exchange-traded funds. The 927-page report detailed over 21,000 stock transactions averaged at 80 per day, alongside hundreds of millions generated from licensing income for books, merchandise, and Bibles.
