Ukraine Hits 3 Ferries, Kerch Oil Terminal; Crimea Suspends Civilian Fuel Sales
Ukrainian drone strikes hit three ferries carrying heavy vehicle traffic across the Kerch Strait between Krasnodar Krai and Russian-occupied Crimea, and set five of seven storage tanks ablaze at the TES-Terminal fuel complex in Kerch. The attacks also struck an oil transport facility in Russia's Krasnodar region, while Sergei Aksyonov, the Russian-installed head of Crimea, suspended fuel sales to the public and businesses across the peninsula from 9 a.m. local time, reserving supplies for government and military use.
Russian-installed authorities said four people were killed. Ferry traffic across the Kerch Strait was suspended and queues formed at the Kerch Bridge. The drone campaign later hit rail infrastructure in Russian-occupied Berdyansk, where a large fire was reported, and targeted Moscow again early Sunday.
