China's Youth Jobless Rate Falls to 15.6% in May

Official data from China's National Bureau of Statistics showed the jobless rate for 16-to-24-year-olds excluding students fell to 15.6% in May from 16.9% in March, with unemployment lower across every age group.
The release still showed a wide age gap. Unemployment for the 25-to-29 cohort was 7.2%, compared with 4.1% for people aged 30 to 59.
