businesslaw 4 posts · 3 accounts

The Trump administration said it had closed an investigation into Delta Air Lines’ handling of the July 2024 CrowdStrike outage without seeking penalties. The disruption affected 1.3 million customers and cost the carrier $500 million.

The Transportation Department probe was launched under then-Secretary Pete Buttigieg nearly two years ago after the global outage triggered a breakdown in Delta’s operations. The department has now ended that review.
