Arcade Raises $60 Million Series A for AI Agent Action and Control Layer

Arcade said it has raised a $60 million Series A as it launched what it calls an action and control layer for AI agents. The company said its focus is on what happens when an agent actually does something, rather than only on the underlying model.

An investor in the startup said its founders wrote the MCP authorization specification adopted by Anthropic. The pitch targets a growing problem for companies deploying agents: how to let software use external tools and production systems safely.
