cryptoblockchainstechfintech 4 posts · 3 accounts

Tempo, a blockchain used for stablecoin payments that Stripe now uses by default for new features, has reached about $3 billion in annualized payment volume roughly three months after launch, according to an update on the network's first 93 days. Deel uses the network to pay contractors, while Meta uses it for global payouts.

The same update described an early AI-payments business on Tempo, with about 1,000 active services selling to agents through its Machine Payments Protocol, or MPP. It cited 570 unique agents that bought from Exa AI Labs and 332 from OpenWeather; Stripe, Visa and Standard Chartered are running validators.
