Satellite company ICEYE has raised more than €1 billion in a funding round led by General Atlantic, valuing the company at €10.5 billion. The deal makes ICEYE Finland’s third decacorn.
The valuation is about four times ICEYE’s latest round in December, according to the information shared on June 9. The fundraising points to strong investor interest in European defense and space-sovereignty companies.
