Amazon Secures $17.5 Billion Citigroup-Led Loan After Record C$14 Billion Bond Sale
Amazon has secured a $17.5 billion loan from a group of banks led by Citigroup, according to a regulatory filing, adding to its funding plans days after launching a record C$14 billion Canadian-dollar bond sale.
The delayed-draw facility gives Amazon additional flexibility to fund AI and data-center investments. The loan follows the June 8 bond offering, a C$14 billion investment-grade deal that was set to be the largest of its kind on record.
