OpenAI Removes 3 GPT-5.2 Models From ChatGPT, Migrates Existing Chats to GPT-5.5
OpenAI has removed the GPT-5.2 model family from ChatGPT as of June 12, according to the service's release notes. The change covers GPT-5.2 Instant, GPT-5.2 Thinking and GPT-5.2 Pro, and existing conversations that used GPT-5.2 are being automatically migrated to corresponding GPT-5.5 models.
GPT-5.5 models remain available in ChatGPT, and the release notes described the change as a model retirement within ChatGPT rather than an API change. OpenAI has said ChatGPT models generally remain available for 90 days after a successor is released.

@mparakhinOpenAI has removed 5.2-Pro from ChatGPT. The best model for math/ML is not available anymore. Yes, it was mostly through an unbelievably high reasoning budget, but still. A dark day - and I'm not being facetious :-(
