BitMine Buys 126,971 Ether, Raising Holdings to 5.54 Million

BitMine Immersion Technologies said it acquired 126,971 Ether over the past week, bringing its total holdings to 5,543,872 Ether. The company said that equals 4.59% of Ethereum’s circulating supply, and that its crypto and cash holdings totaled $9.6 billion, including 4.72 million staked Ether and $247 million in cash.

The disclosure extends a treasury-building strategy BitMine outlined on June 6, when it said its 2026 Ether purchases had exceeded 484,000. Earlier that week, the company filed to raise up to $300 million through Series A perpetual preferred stock, saying the proceeds may be used for additional Ether purchases, staking and validator infrastructure, strategic investments, working capital and common-stock repurchases.
