AOL and Eventbrite Owner Bending Spoons Files for US IPO With $600 Million in First-Quarter Revenue

Bending Spoons, the Italian company that owns AOL and Eventbrite, has filed for a US initial public offering under the symbol BSP. In the first three months of this year, it recorded $600 million in revenue and $27.5 million in profit.

The company is known for buying smaller tech companies and turning them into cash-generating businesses, with acquisitions including Vimeo, Hopin, WeTransfer and Evernote. Last year, it announced raising $270 million at an $11 billion valuation, a day after announcing $2.8 billion in debt financing.
