US Spot Bitcoin ETFs Record $1.72 Billion Weekly Outflow, Second-Largest Since Launch
U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded $1.72 billion of net outflows in the June 1-5 trading week, according to SoSoValue data, marking the second-largest weekly withdrawal since launch. BlackRock’s IBIT fund led redemptions, while U.S. spot Ether ETFs posted $173 million of net outflows, their fourth straight week of redemptions.
The Bitcoin withdrawal was the biggest since February 2025 and marked a fourth consecutive week of net outflows for U.S. spot Bitcoin funds. June 5 alone accounted for $326 million of the week’s redemptions.
