Nvidia’s Nemotron 3 Ultra Ranks 5th Overall on Vals Index, Top US Open-Weight Model
Nvidia’s Nemotron 3 Ultra ranked as the top U.S. open-weight model on the Vals Index and fifth overall with a score of 43.9. The result gives Nvidia an external datapoint for its 550 billion-parameter open model.
The ranking comes days after Nvidia published a model card benchmarking Nemotron 3 Ultra across TRT-LLM, vLLM and SGLang on H100 and B200 GPUs. Nvidia has said the system is designed for long-running AI agents in coding, tool-use and research workflows.
