Strategy Reaffirms Plan to Increase Bitcoin Holdings After 32-BTC Sale

cryptocrypto-marketsbusiness 18 posts · 15 accounts

Strategy signaled it remains committed to increasing its Bitcoin holdings after a rare sale last week, with Michael Saylor writing that it was "a good time to add more dots" and Chief Executive Officer Phong Le saying the company’s strategy is to increase net Bitcoin and Bitcoin per share over time. Le dismissed speculation that Strategy was changing course.

The remarks came after Strategy sold 32 BTC, worth about $2.5 million, in its first Bitcoin sale in four years. Grayscale said the sale intensified concerns about Strategy’s leveraged accumulation model and argued that additional buyers may be needed for Bitcoin to find a sustainable bottom.
