Oman’s Mina al Fahal Oil Terminal Resumes Crude Loadings After Explosion
Operations at Mina al Fahal, Oman’s main crude oil export terminal, resumed after an explosion on Friday briefly halted some loadings and pushed scheduled cargoes back by several days, according to traders. Oman’s state news agency later cited Petroleum Development Oman as saying operations at the port were continuing normally.
Earlier reports said oil loading had been suspended after a blast near the terminal’s offshore mooring berths. Reuters, citing unnamed sources, reported that the explosion was suspected to have been caused by a drone attack, while traders later said no berths were directly affected and delayed Omani crude loadings were being resumed.
