At Least 7 Chinese Universities With Military Ties Seek Nvidia H200 Chips
At least seven Chinese universities that support the country’s armed forces and defense industry are seeking access to Nvidia’s H200 chips, according to a review of procurement records. They include Beihang University and Northwestern Polytechnical University, two among China’s “Seven Sons of National Defense.”
The review also found 25 more Chinese universities that work with the military are already using or seeking Nvidia chips, expanding the number of military-affiliated institutions identified in the records.
