Bitmine Buys 26,497 Ether, Raising Holdings to 4.5% of Ethereum Supply
Bitmine (BMNR) said it acquired 26,497 Ether over the past week, a purchase worth about $50 million, bringing its holdings to 5.42 million ETH valued at roughly $10.8 billion. The company said that equals 4.49% of Ethereum's circulating supply.
Bitmine said its crypto, cash and other investments total $11.6 billion, including 4.72 million staked ETH and $446 million in cash. The latest purchase leaves the company just short of 5% of Ethereum's total supply.
