Grayscale Pauses IPO Plans, Restart Unlikely Before Q4
Grayscale has paused preparations for an initial public offering because of unfavorable market conditions and is unlikely to restart the process before the fourth quarter, according to people familiar with the matter. The crypto asset manager confidentially filed for an IPO with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in November last year.
The delay makes Grayscale the latest crypto firm to postpone going public as momentum in crypto listings cools. Any debut would now come later than previously expected after the company had already begun the confidential filing process.
