Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan Set for Taiwan Trip to Visit TSMC Ahead of Computex
Intel Chief Executive Officer Lip-Bu Tan is expected to travel to Taiwan this week for a visit to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and meetings with key supply-chain partners ahead of Computex Taipei, according to media reports. Computex Taipei is scheduled for June 2 to June 5.
The reports said Tan is slated to host a June 1 cocktail event for partners Intel has worked with for decades and, on June 2, meet executives from AI server and PC manufacturers including Quanta, Wistron, Inventec, Compal, Pegatron and Asus. Those discussions are expected to cover CPUs, strategy and the outlook for servers and personal computers.
