TSMC's Arizona operations reportedly posted a first-quarter profit of NT$16.9 billion ($520 million), reversing a full-year 2024 loss of NT$14.2 billion as production and new fab construction continued to ramp up.
The turnaround adds to signs of stronger results from the company's US business. TSMC USA, which includes five subsidiaries, reported profit of NT$17.02 billion in the quarter after posting NT$15.79 billion last year.
