The first Windows PCs powered by Nvidia chips are expected to debut next week, Axios reported, while Microsoft is also expected to unveil software that lets AI agents perform tasks locally on Windows PCs. The launch would mark Nvidia’s push into the PC processor market.
Microsoft, Nvidia and Arm have all teased “a new era of PC” ahead of Build and Jensen Huang’s Computex keynote, and reports have tied the hardware to Nvidia’s N1X, described as Nvidia’s first Arm-based Windows laptop chip. That would pair new Nvidia-based Windows hardware with software aimed at handling AI-agent tasks locally.
