Snowflake Raises Full-Year Product Revenue Guidance to $5.84 Billion, Commits $6 Billion to AWS
Snowflake raised its full-year product revenue guidance to $5.84 billion from $5.66 billion after first-quarter revenue rose 33% to $1.39 billion and product revenue increased 34% to $1.33 billion. The company also signed a multi-year strategic collaboration agreement with Amazon Web Services that includes a $6 billion infrastructure commitment, its largest to date, to support AI and data workloads running on AWS.
Snowflake said the expanded AWS partnership is aimed at helping joint customers build and deploy enterprise agentic AI faster and more securely, while the Wall Street Journal reported the tie-up makes it an AWS chips customer. The company also said it intends to acquire Natoma, an enterprise Model Context Protocol platform for AI agents, and shares rose about 30% in extended trading.
