xAI Filing Shows $818 Million Quarterly Revenue, $2.5 Billion Loss
Quarterly financial figures from an IPO filing show xAI generated $818 million in revenue and recorded a $2.5 billion loss. Research and development spending reached $2.4 billion, while revenue from Grok and X subscriptions grew and advertising revenue fell during the quarter.
The filing also showed xAI paid $71 million to creators in the quarter, more than the $45 million it spent on creator payouts in all of the prior year, according to the annual figures.
