Anthropic Agrees Terms for $30 Billion Round at $900 Billion Valuation, FT Reports
Anthropic has agreed to terms for a $30 billion fundraising round that would value the AI company at approximately $900 billion, according to a Financial Times report. If completed, the deal would nearly triple the startup's valuation from three months ago.
The round is being co-led by Dragoneer Investment Group, Greenoaks Capital, Sequoia Capital and Altimeter Capital, with each committing $2 billion or more, the report said. The financing could close as soon as the end of May, though final terms may still change before a formal announcement.
