UK Chip Startup Fractile Raises $220 Million for AI Inference Chips

UK chip startup Fractile has raised a $220 million Series B led by Factorial Funds, Accel and Founders Fund to develop specialized logic and memory chips for AI inference. The company said the financing supports its work on chips and systems aimed at the next phase of AI scaling.

Fractile has also committed to invest £100 million in the UK to scale production and build a new industrial hardware engineering facility in Bristol.
