businesscompany-earnings 5 posts · 3 accounts

Hims & Hers Health reported first-quarter revenue of $608.1 million, missing estimates of $616.9 million, and a net loss of $92.1 million compared with net income of $49.5 million a year earlier, amid increasing competition in the weight-loss drug market. Adjusted EBITDA fell to $44.3 million from $91.1 million and gross margin narrowed to 65% from 73%, even as subscribers rose 9% to nearly 2.6 million.

For the second quarter, Hims forecast revenue of $680 million to $700 million, above estimates, but adjusted EBITDA of $35 million to $55 million, below expectations. Its CFO said the company expects to return to profitability in 2027 after first-quarter write-downs tied to compounding GLP-1 ingredients and inventory, plus one-time M&A costs, while reiterating 2030 targets of at least $6.5 billion in revenue and $1.3 billion in adjusted EBITDA.
