Kraken Parent Payward Cuts 150 Jobs Ahead of Planned IPO
Payward, the parent company of crypto exchange Kraken, is cutting about 150 jobs as part of an optimization and restructuring effort ahead of a planned initial public offering, according to a CoinDesk report.
The company employs around 3,000 staff globally. It confidentially filed a draft S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission last November and is seeking fresh funding at a $20 billion valuation, the report said.
