India's cabinet approved new semiconductor projects under the India Semiconductor Mission, in a package with cumulative investment of about Rs 3,936 crore and expected employment of 2,230 skilled workers.
One of the approved projects is Crystal Matrix Ltd.'s Dholera facility, which will make Mini/Micro-LED display modules and provide GaN foundry services as India works to expand domestic chip manufacturing.
