CVS Health raised its 2026 outlook after first-quarter revenue and profit exceeded analyst expectations, helped by stronger performance in its insurance business. Revenue rose 6.2% from a year earlier to $100.4 billion, while adjusted earnings were $2.57 a share, above estimates of about $2.21. Adjusted operating income increased 12.5% to $5.15 billion.

The company now expects full-year adjusted earnings of $7.30 to $7.50 a share, up from a prior range of $7.00 to $7.20, and at least $9.5 billion of operating cash flow, compared with a previous minimum of $9.0 billion. CVS said much of the improvement came from a turnaround at Aetna, with health care benefits adjusted operating income rising 52.6% to $3.04 billion.
