Arm Holdings said customer response to its first data-center chip, the Arm AGI CPU, has been stronger than expected, with more than $2 billion of customer demand across fiscal 2027 and 2028. Chief Executive Officer Rene Haas said that is more than double what the company said at launch and keeps it on track toward a previously stated $15 billion forecast, adding that the data center will soon be Arm's largest business. Shares rose about 12%.

The update followed fourth-quarter results that topped estimates. Arm reported record revenue of $1.49 billion, versus $1.47 billion expected, and non-GAAP earnings per share of 60 cents, compared with 58 cents expected; non-GAAP net income was $641 million. Licensing revenue rose 29% to $819 million and royalty revenue increased 11% to $671 million, while first-quarter guidance called for about $1.26 billion in revenue and 40 cents a share, versus estimates of $1.25 billion and 37 cents.
