politics 2 posts · 2 accounts

U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar faced fresh allegations Saturday after a report cited by Zero Hedge said she had sought to direct $1.4 million in taxpayer funding to a nonprofit described as offering mental-health support but listed at a restaurant address. An accompanying report said the money was meant for a substance-abuse clinic and cited the brother of one of the restaurant's owners as saying he was unaware of any clinic operating there.

A separate New York Post report said Omar's husband's California winery had closed amid an investigation into her finances.
