Singapore Doubles Russian Oil Imports as Suez Crude Flows Continue
Singapore, the world’s biggest ship-refueling port, has doubled oil imports from Russia since the start of the US-Israeli war on Iran, underscoring a rise in Russian crude flows during the conflict.
Tanker-tracking images discussed alongside that shift showed vessels carrying Russian crude in the Red Sea. Separate commentary said Russian oil, unlike LNG, was still passing through the Suez Canal, pointing to continued crude movements through key Middle East shipping lanes.
