Lam Research Beats Estimates and Sees Q4 Revenue Above Forecasts
Lam Research reported fiscal third-quarter revenue of $5.84 billion and earnings per share of $1.47, topping expectations of $5.73 billion and $1.35, respectively. The company said fourth-quarter revenue will be $6.2 billion to $7.0 billion and EPS will be $1.50 to $1.80, compared with estimates of $6.05 billion and $1.45.
Chief Executive Officer Tim Archer said Lam posted record revenue and EPS in the March quarter as AI-driven demand reshapes the semiconductor industry. Shares rose about 4% in after-hours trading.
