businesscompany-earnings 4 posts · 4 accounts

AT&T reported first-quarter adjusted earnings of 57 cents a share on revenue of $31.5 billion, topping analyst estimates of 55 cents and $31.25 billion. Postpaid phone net additions totaled 294,000, ahead of expectations for 270,000, and the company reaffirmed its 2026 outlook and long-term capital return plans.

Higher revenue was driven by growth in AT&T's advanced connectivity business, where revenue rose 4.7% to $28.5 billion, as the company continued adding customers for postpaid phone service and high-speed internet. AT&T said 42% of households using its advanced home internet also selected its wireless service.
