Amazon to Invest Up to $25 Billion in Anthropic
Amazon said it will invest an additional $5 billion in Anthropic immediately, with up to $20 billion more in the future, expanding the companies' AI infrastructure partnership.
Anthropic said the deal will secure up to 5 gigawatts of compute from Amazon for training and deploying Claude, with capacity beginning to come online this quarter and nearly 1 gigawatt expected by the end of 2026. Anthropic also committed to spend more than $100 billion on AWS technologies over the next decade.
