Kuwait Acquits Journalist Jailed Over US Fighter Jet Crash Video

A Kuwaiti court acquitted U.S.-Kuwaiti journalist Ahmed Shihab-Eldin on all charges after he spent nearly two months in prison for posting videos of a crashed U.S. fighter jet from the Iran war, according to Reuters.

Shihab-Eldin had been charged with spreading false information and threatening national security after sharing footage of the incident in early March. Reuters said he spent nearly 60 days behind bars before being cleared.
