Honeywell Agrees to Sell Warehouse Unit as Adjusted Earnings Beat Estimates
Honeywell agreed to sell its Warehouse and Workflow Solutions business for an undisclosed sum as it reported first-quarter results showing orders up 7% across all segments, lifting backlog to about $38.3 billion, led by buildings and industrial automation. Sales rose 2% to $9.14 billion, below estimates of $9.28 billion, while adjusted earnings per share increased 11% to $2.45, above estimates of $2.32; reported EPS fell 35% to $1.29.
The company said the warehouse unit, which generated about $935 million of revenue in 2025, is being sold to American Industrial Partners and the transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026. Honeywell also said its aerospace spin-off is planned for June 29 and projected full-year EPS of $10.35 to $10.65 on revenue of $38.8 billion to $39.8 billion; first-quarter operating margin was 16.1%, down 320 basis points from a year earlier.
